Their help files were not helpful for my need. I then searched Pixillion's help files to see if I could find a solution or was missing something. I also really need to compress png images because of their transparency ability which jpg does not have. The compression button then looked active and I ran a compression on the image with negligible results. So, I then loaded a jpg image for testing. The compression button remained subdued as if that selection was not available. Well, what did I just pay for? Next I loaded one of the png images I needed to compress.

One thing I noticed was that the software immediately tried to up sell me to a professional version. Pixillion turned up in my search for image compression software and their product page stated: "Compress thousands of photos at a time with batch conversion." So, I purchased this software with high hopes. What I found in my first search was disappointing. I first tried searching online for something to do the job. My main reason for acquiring the software was for image compression. If you do decide to buy it anyhow for its other capabilities, at least you will be informed.
So, mine is the first and also unfortunately a negative review for the product with the exception that it can save other customers from experiencing the same disappointment I had. Unfortunately for me, this product did not yet have any reviews. Second, I love Amazon reviews for helping make informed purchase decisions. In dealing with my dissatisfaction for this product, Amazon came through with more than I expected. I've been a happy Amazon shopper for a long time.
